Delays and cancellations at the nation’s ninth busiest airport were felt nationwide over the Easter holiday weekend after Logan International Airport’s radar system went dark. Delays were expected to continue today as controllers awaiting the repair of the airport’s radar system guided arriving planes using a composite radar system from three regional airports. The central radar antenna was apparently toppled by wind Saturday morning. And while new equipment was flown in Sunday, it was expected to take several days to assemble.
